"My first
desire is that," said Alexander, "My physicians alone must carry my
coffin." After a pause,
රාජකීය වෛද්‍යවරැන් විසින් මාගේ දේහය සොහොන් බිමට රැගෙන ආ යුතුය.
he continued,
"Secondly, I
desire that when my coffin is being carried to the grave, the path leading to
the graveyard be strewn with gold, silver and precious stones which I have
collected in my treasury.
දෙවනුව, මගේ දේහය සොහොන් බිමට රැගෙන යන අතර මග මාව්සින් රැස්කරා වු මාගේ භාණ්ඩා‍ගාරයේ ඇති සියලු රන් රිදී හා වටිනා දේ මග දෙපස දැමිය යුතුය..
"My third and
last wish is that both my hands be kept dangling out of my coffin."
තුන්වනුව, මා මිය ගිය පසු මාගේ දෑත් එක්කොට නොතබන්න එය දෙපසට කර තබන්න.
He explained the
reason briefly.
එසේ කීමට හේතු පැහැදිලි කල මහා ඇලෙක්සැන්ඩ්රර් රජු,
"I would like the world to know of the
three lessons I have just learnt. I want my physicians to carry my coffin
because people should realize that no doctor can really cure anybody. They are
powerless and cannot save a person from the clutches of death. So let not
people take life for granted".
මම මේ මෙහොතේ අවබෝධකර ගත් කාරණය මට මේ ලෝකයට ප්‍රකාශකර යුතුයි. පළමුව මා මාගේ දේහය රාජකීය වෛද්‍යවරැන් විසින්ම රැගෙන යා යුතු බව කීවේ රාජකීය වෛද්‍ය වරැන් වීත් ඔවුන්ට මාගේ ජීවිත බේරා ගැනීමට නොහැකි වූ බව ඒත්තු ගැනිවීමටයි.. වෛද්‍යවරැන්ට මිනිසුන් සෙහොන් බමි කරා යන ගමන වැලැක්වීමට නොහැකි බව ඒත්තු ගැන්වීමටයි..
The second wish of strewing gold, silver and
other riches on the way to the graveyard is to tell people that not even a
fraction of gold will come with me. I spent all my life earning riches but
cannot take anything with me. Let people realize that it is a sheer waste of
time to chase wealth.
දෙවනුව මා ජීවිත කාළයේ රැස්කරා වු මාගේ භාණ්ඩා‍ගාරයේ ඇති සියලු රන් රිදී හා වටිනා දේ සියල්ල මග දෙපස දැමිය යුතුය යන ලෙස කීවේ මා රැස් කල එක් හෝ දෙයකින් අවසන් මොහොතේ මාගේ ජීවිතය බේ‍රාගැනීමට නොහැකි වුනා, ජීවිත කාළයේ රැස්කරා වු කිසිම වටිනා දෙයක් අවසානයේ අවශ්‍ය අනවශ දේ බවට පත්වන බව ලෝකයාට පැහැදිලි කිරීමයි...
And about my third
wish of having my hands dangling out of the coffin, I wish people to know that
I came empty handed into this world and empty handed I go out of this
world."
තෙවනුව, මා මිය ගිය පසු දෑත් එක්කොට නොතබන්න එය දෙපසට කර තබන්න.. මම මේ ලෝකයට පැමිණියේ හිස් අතින් බවත් ලෝකයෙන් සමු ගන්නේ හිස් අතින් බවත් මිනිසුන් හට වටහා ගැනීමට ඉඩ දෙන්න.. අවසානයේ මා කිසිවක් එක් රැස් කල කෙනෙකු නොවන බව මිනිසුන්ට අවබෝධ කර ගනීමට ඉඩ දෙන්න..
