The Road to Happiness

When I travel on business, I like to talk to the taxi drivers who take me from the airport to my hotel, or to a convention center, or to a restaurant. Taxi drivers are often immigrants with interesting personal histories and unusual cultural backgrounds. I ask them how long they've been in America , how they chose which city to live in, and what they like best about where they live. Of course, I also ask them for advice on good local restaurants and any special attractions they'd recommend to a visitor. I've had some great experiences on my travels, thanks to the advice of taxi drivers!

 

On one trip about ten years ago, I was making conversation with the taxi driver, asking him my usual questions about how he came to live where he lived. Then I asked him a hypothetical question: "If you could live anywhere in the world-and if money was no object-where would you live?"

 

Without hesitating even for a second, he replied, "I live in my heart. So it really doesn't matter where my body lives. If I am happy inside, then I live in paradise, no matter where my residence is."

 

I felt humbled and a little foolish for my question. Of course he was right;happiness is an inside job. He had reminded me of something I already knew, but had forgotten. If you can't find happiness inside yourself, you'll never find it in the outside world, no matter where you move. Wherever you go, there you are. You take yourself with you.

 

I am grateful for the wisdom of that taxi driver. And I'm grateful for all the wisdom others have shared with me about how to be happy.

9 - Did you know that there is no examination from the first to the third primary level; because the goal of education is to instill concepts and character building, not just examination and indoctrination. -

10 - Did you know that if you go to a buffet restaurant in Japan you will notice people only eat as much as they need without any waste. No wasteful food.

11 - Did you know that the rate of delayed trains in Japan is about 7 seconds per year!! They appreciate the value of time, very punctual to minutes and seconds

12 -. Did you know that children in schools brush their teeth (sterile) and clean their teeth after a meal at school; They maintain their health from an early age -

13 - Did you know that students take half an hour to finish their meals to ensure right digestion When asked about this concern, they said: These students are the future of Japan

A Mother and Cute Little Daughter

A Mother was reading a magazine and her cute little daughter every now and then distracted her.

To keep her busy, she tore one page on which was printed the map of the world.
She tore it into pieces and asked her to go to her room and put them together to make the map again.
She was sure her daughter would take a lot more time and probably whole of day to get it done.
But the little one came back within minutes with perfect map.
When she asked how she could do it so quickly, she said,
"Oh Mom, there is a man's face on the other side of the paper. I made the face perfect to get the map right." she ran outside to play leaving the mother surprised.
Moral : Perhaps there is always the other side to whatever you experience in this world.
This story indirectly teaches a lesson.That is:
Whenever we come across a challenge or a puzzling situation, Look at the other side...
&
Will be surprised to see an easy way to tackle the problem or an acute difficulty

 

How to drive your secular Life successfully

1.     Be wise and active person.

3. Try to improve your knowledge through Researches.

4. Manage it well manner. 
   

2.      Earn money by utilizing your knowledge and strength [Through noble methods] and be shrewd to protect it.

3.        Associate good friends who drive you towards to success.

                                                     He has observed five precepts

                                                     He is good helper to others

                                                     Also he has wise knowledge to isolate good & Bad

4.         Always should balance Income & Expenditures.

            He / She has no liabilities

1. නුවනින් යුක්තව නැගී සිටීම... ( උට්ඨාන සමිපදා.)

• තමා නියැලෙන වෘත්තීය ක්ෂ්ත්‍රයේ දක්ෂ වීම. 

• කමිමැලි නොමැති කෙනෙකු වීම.    

• උපායශීලී නුවනින් යුක්ත වීම. ( පර්යේෂණ කිරීම)

• හා කළමනාකරණය කිරීම.

2.  ධාර්මික ක්‍රම මගින් ධනය ඉපැයීම හා එම වස්තුව රැක ගැනීම. (ආරක්ඛ සමිපදා)
